The same data, read by one question at a time.

Which P2P platform is the safest?

Nobody can answer that, and this page does not try. A licence says who supervises a platform and which rules it must follow. It says nothing about whether its loans get repaid. What we can show is what the data holds: the licence tier, how long the platform has operated, how many of its investors plan to reduce or exit, and how widely their returns spread. Read the columns side by side and weigh them yourself.

14 licensed P2P platforms by tier and community score 2026

Sorted by licence tier, then by what 1,913 investors plan to do next.

Licence tier first, community score second. Unlicensed platforms are listed last, not left out.

Middle half of portfolios, median marked Data as of September 4, 2026
  1. MiFID II investment firms

Licensed as investment firms under the EU's MiFID II framework: the strictest tier, with extensive disclosure duties and an investor-compensation scheme covering 90% of claims up to €20,000 per investor. Note it protects against the firm's own failure, not against loan defaults.

How this list works

The order

Licence tier first: MiFID II, then ECSP, then national licences, then none. Inside a tier the community score decides, so investors set the order, not us.

The warning column

The share of votes that say reduce or exit. When a large part of a platform's investors want out, it shows here before it shows anywhere else.

What a licence covers

Supervision, capital requirements and disclosure duties; in the MiFID II tier also an investor compensation scheme. Not covered: loan defaults or the platform's own business risk.

Licences can be granted and surrendered. Each platform page lists its licences and the supervising authority. Verify with that authority before investing.

About this data: The figures on this page are aggregated from anonymized data that P2P Dash users import themselves, plus platform details we maintain by hand. We check both, but we cannot guarantee that they are complete or free of errors. Spotted a mistake? Write to tim@newnow.de and we will correct it.

Frequently asked questions

About regulation and the columns on this page.

Why is there no safety score on this page?

Because any single number would be our opinion, and this page shows facts instead. The licence tier is verifiable, the community score comes from 1,913 investors, the reduce-or-exit share and the return band come from real portfolios. Read them side by side; a platform with a strong licence and a high exit share tells a different story than one with the same licence and a low one.

What does a MiFID II licence mean for investors?

The platform is an investment firm supervised under EU rules, with capital requirements, disclosure duties and an investor compensation scheme that covers 90% of claims up to €20,000 if the firm itself fails. Loan defaults are not covered by any of it.

Is an unlicensed platform automatically unsafe?

No. It means no financial authority supervises it, so you rely on the platform's own governance and there is no regulator to escalate to. Some unlicensed platforms have long track records. The data columns show how their investors actually behave.

How current is the regulatory status?

We maintain the licence data per platform by hand and review it regularly, but licences change. Each platform page lists the licences and the authority. Verify with that authority before investing.
