How we make money and what that does, and does not, affect.

How we make money

P2P Dash is free. There is no paid plan, no subscription and no advertising on the site.

We earn money through affiliate links. If you open an account with a P2P platform through one of our links, we receive a commission. In most cases you receive a bonus from the platform as well. Most of these links run through the Target Circle affiliate network; some go directly to the platform's own programme.

What affiliate links do not influence

Ranking positions, scores and metrics are calculated from aggregated user data. No platform can pay for a position, and a commission never changes a number.

We also list platforms we earn nothing from, and our editorial texts describe platforms without affecting where they land in any ranking.

One thing to be aware of: a few platforms appear on this site that our importer does not support, and that we list only because we have an affiliate relationship with them. Right now these are Lonvest, Letsinvest, Smart Crowd, Digilo, GOAT Finance. They carry no user data, so they never appear in rankings or aggregated statistics.

How rankings are calculated

Every ranking, score and average on this site is computed from anonymised, aggregated data of P2P Dash portfolios. The data is recalculated nightly.

This has real limits. Sample sizes differ per platform and can be small, our users are not a representative sample of investors, and we keep changing metrics and weightings as the product develops. Read the numbers as a description of what our users did, not as a verdict on a platform.

How we mark affiliate links

Affiliate links carry a disclosure note where they appear and are marked with rel="sponsored" so search engines can recognise them as commercial.

What we do not do

We do not sell reviews, ranking positions or editorial coverage. We do not run analytics, tracking pixels or advertising networks, so we do not build profiles of you and have nothing to sell to third parties.

Your imported data stays yours. It feeds your own dashboard, and it feeds anonymised aggregates such as platform rankings and capital flows. Publishing a portfolio under a public link is optional and off unless you switch it on.

Reporting unlawful content

Because users can publish portfolios under a public link, we are a hosting service under the Digital Services Act.

Our contact point under Articles 11 and 12 DSA is tim@newnow.de. You can reach us there in German and English. The same address is the point of contact for authorities.

If you believe a shared page contains unlawful content, write to that address. So that we can act on it, a report should contain:

  • why you consider the content unlawful
  • the exact address (URL) of the page
  • your name and email address
  • a statement that, to the best of your knowledge, your information is accurate and complete

We confirm receipt, decide without undue delay and tell you the outcome. If we switch a shared page off, we inform the person who published it and give the reasons.
