About P2P Dash

Hey, I'm Tim

Software developer from Berlin, partner at New Now. Building web apps and websites is my day job, and at some point P2P Dash came out of it.

I've been investing in P2P loans since 2016. So I'm not looking at this from the outside, I use the app every month for my own portfolio. And since that portfolio is public, you can take a look yourself.

I invest myself

I started in 2016 with Mintos, carefully at first, and today I'm on a number of platforms. Which ones keeps changing. So instead of listing them here, I'll just show you.

My portfolio shows where things stand right now, tracked with P2P Dash, through the same imports you would do.

How this got started

There was no grand plan. I had pulled an export from Mintos and thought: a machine should be able to read this nicely. So I tried whether I could get correct numbers out of it and display them properly.

It worked. And then I noticed that nothing like it existed for P2P, because most apps are built for other kinds of investments, stocks above all.

From there it took on a life of its own, because the data always held one more analysis. In June 2025 I put it online instead of keeping it to myself. The interest surprised me, and since then users have been thinking along: a lot of the analyses on the site today go back to their suggestions.

What I can do and what I can't

I'm a developer. I can handle numbers: read them in, normalize them, calculate, display. At its core, that's all P2P Dash does.

I'm not a blogger and not a researcher. I won't tell you which platform is good, because I have no better basis for that than you do. P2P Dash deliberately gives no recommendations. More on that in the risk disclosure.

About your data

I know it takes some trust to upload your financial data somewhere. So here's how it works.

Your export files never reach me, they're read in your browser. The only things stored are the numbers that come out of them: interest, principal, fees and so on, per platform and per day. They belong to your account and you can delete them again at any time.

For the community statistics, those numbers are anonymized and combined across all users. The more people use P2P Dash, the more solid those figures get. Everyone who reads them benefits, you included.

What doesn't happen: nothing is sold, nothing is passed on, and there's no tracking here at all. I'm in the same boat, my own data sits in the same database.

Who's behind it

P2P Dash runs under New Now, where I'm a shareholder and the developer on the team.

But the product is built by one person, and that's me. That means short paths and quick fixes. And it also means: there's no big company with a support department sitting here.

What it costs

Nothing. P2P Dash is free. If you want to support the project, you can do it through one of our affiliate links: you open an account with a platform through it, we get a commission and you usually get a bonus. That's currently the only source of income.

By now it covers the running costs, so servers, database and everything it takes to keep this online. I'm genuinely grateful for that, it's not a given. It doesn't cover the development time, that goes in because I enjoy the project.

You don't have to do it, and it changes nothing about what you see in the product. How it works and what it doesn't influence is on the transparency page.

Where else you'll find me

I'm around in the German-speaking P2P community, mostly in the Telegram groups Die P2P Macher and Passives Einkommen mit P2P. They're not my groups, I'm just one of many there.

Write to me

I answer every email myself. If something is broken, missing or looks odd, or if you just want to say hello: tim@newnow.de.
