Lonvest

Lonvest is a Croatian P2P platform based in Zagreb. It is run by Lonvest Platform d.o.o., registered in 2023, the same year the platform opened to investors. Investors buy claims on loans issued by lenders outside the EU: consumer loans in Mexico (Clicredito) and Malaysia (AmanahKredit) and business loans in Singapore (SpaceCrew Finance). According to Lonvest, all of these lenders belong to the Space Crew Finance group. Lonvest does not lend money itself. The minimum investment is 50 euros. Investors choose a country, an amount and a term, and the platform spreads the money across loans automatically. The fixed-term contracts pay the interest at maturity. Leaving early returns the principal, but the accrued interest is lost. Investors who have been on the platform for a while and hold a larger amount get a loyalty bonus on top of the rate. There is no secondary market: claims can only be sold back to the lender. The help centre describes a buyback obligation of the lender after 90 days of delay, covering principal and interest. The terms and conditions only give the lender a right to buy back at that point, and an obligation only if the lender becomes insolvent.

Important Notes

  • Lonvest has no export in the account yet. Ask support for a complete statement of your transactions as CSV and import the file unchanged
  • Always ask for your full history, starting with your first deposit. Only the whole file shows us which contracts pay their interest at maturity. In a partial statement, interest can be counted twice
  • Interest counts once Lonvest credits it to you. If a contract pays its interest at maturity, it only shows up then. Interest that has built up on running contracts is not included yet
