Lendosphere

Lendosphere is a French crowdlending platform for the energy transition, based in Paris and financing projects since 2014: solar and wind farms, heat networks, geothermal and energy efficiency. Most projects are in France, with further issues in Spain, Italy and Portugal. Investors put money directly into the project companies, usually as bonds, from €50 per project, and many campaigns are open only to people living near the project. The operating company, Lendocompany SAS (called Lendosphere SAS until January 2026), was authorised by the AMF on 7 November 2023 as a European crowdfunding service provider under licence FP-2023-22, with a passport for Spain and Portugal. Since 2021 its majority shareholder has been the asset manager 123 Investment Managers, which gets a first look at financings above 1.5 million euros and can take up to 90% of them. In October 2024 Lendosphere bought the crowdlending platform Lendopolis, which now runs under the same company and licence. Investing is free; withdrawing money you paid in but never invested costs 1%. For French tax residents, tax on interest is withheld at source, so repayments arrive net. There is no secondary market, no buyback guarantee and no auto-invest.

Important Notes

  • Lendosphere exports each repayment as a single amount. We split it into principal and interest by matching the project name to your loan offer (“Offre de prêt”). This works for interest coupons, instalment plans and a single final repayment
  • Always export your full transaction history, starting with your first loan offer. If the loan offer for a project is missing from the file, its repayments are counted entirely as interest
  • While a loan is still running, the split is an estimate. For interest-only loans it is exact. For amortising loans, part of the principal in each instalment is still counted as interest, so your interest and your invested amount look somewhat too high until the loan ends. Once it is fully repaid, the principal matches exactly what you invested
