Inversa Invoice Market

Inversa Invoice Market is a Spanish crowdfactoring platform run by Galaicus Fintech, S.L. from Ferrol in Galicia. The company was registered in 2017 and the marketplace opened in early 2019. Spanish companies and freelancers sell their unpaid invoices and promissory notes there, and investors buy into them from 20 euros. Registering, investing, depositing, withdrawing and holding an account cost investors nothing; only the optional managed portfolio through an outside adviser carries a 10% success fee on the return. Auto-invest and a secondary market are both live, and investors can resell their positions to other investors at a premium, at par or at a discount. If a debtor does not pay, the general terms put the risk on the seller: after 15 days Inversa offers the seller a voluntary repurchase, after 30 days it issues a binding repurchase demand, and the seller then owes the outstanding amount plus default interest of two percentage points above the nominal rate. That obligation is the seller's, not Inversa's. Some invoices are published as insured; there a credit insurer sets a limit per debtor and pays if the debtor becomes insolvent. Client money sits in segregated accounts at Paymatico Payment Institution, S.L., number 6861 in the Banco de España register of payment institutions.
