Viainvest is a Latvian P2P lending platform founded in 2016, headquartered in Riga. It operates as part of VIA SMS Group, a non-bank lending company established in 2009. The platform specializes in short-term consumer loans from borrowers across Europe, including Latvia, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, and Spain. Viainvest is licensed and supervised by Latvijas Banka (Latvia’s central bank) and offers investor protection up to EUR 20,000. All loans feature a buyback guarantee where loan originators repurchase defaulted loans after 30-60 days of non-payment.
