About

Mintos is Europe’s largest peer-to-peer lending marketplace, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Riga, Latvia. The platform connects investors with loans from over 60 lending companies across 31 countries, offering access to consumer, business, and secured loans. Regulated by the Central Bank of Latvia under MiFID II since 2021, Mintos has facilitated over 12 billion EUR in investments. The platform features a secondary market and most loans include buyback guarantees from loan originators.

• Defaults are not exported, but can be requested from support
• Import for defaults is not yet implemented
• Mintos explanation: Defaulted interest/principal is directly deducted from Pending account, not from personal account, therefore not visible in Account Statement
